Just had my first follow up appointment following surgey.
Looks good.
PSA is undetectable.
"All surgical margins are free of tumour"
"Bilateral pelvic lymph nodes (three in total) plus one periprostatic lymph node are negative for malignancy".
Pathological staging indicates the tumour did not escape the prostatic capsule.
Back in 4 months for another PSA test but that's no big deal. So they will continue to monitor me but, as it stands, things look good.
I'm finally in the mood to smoke that generously donated Cohiba....and it's snowing outside! Well, just a little but it's way to cold to risk a good cigar. Hopefully, we can squeeze in one good day of Indian summer before the weather really turns.
