the troublesome DCT transmission is kept

I have no idea why Hyundai Transys produces some faulty transmissions. considering that is all they make. You would think by now the light build would have gone off. I've heard that you can reduce the likelihood of failure by simply changing the transmission fluid early, around the 40,000-mile mark, consistently.

In terms of size, is this essentially like the current Sorrento?

Kia Sorento has 189 inches length, 66.7 inches height, 74.8 inches width. I know the 2024 model is going to be larger. The 2024 hyundai Santa Fe 188.4 inches long, 74.8 inches wide, and 66.3 inches tall on a 108.9-inch wheelbase

You think the average NPC Kyundai owner is going to regularly maintain this thing??

People will be lining up to buy that unit.  Obviously turbo and awd the only way to go.

Hyundai needs to get rid of that horrible badging that they've used forever.  Looks so HYUNDAI.  I thought for sure they'd follow KIA on the updated badging which looks really good.

Most people, I'm pretty sure, don't even think about it as the last thing. Oil changes? Yes. Transmission? Nah, it's just magic and it works. The thing is, they don't know about the early transmission change and even if they follow the scheduled maintenance for their Hyundai to the letter, it will most likely fail, stupidly enough

It's suppose to be two men shaking hands. It is Hyundai's commitment to customer service and teamwork. Honestly, that's what it is. I can't see them changing it.

The placement of that tail light bar across the rear is awkward, it's very low, it should have been 6"-8" higher.

Dimensions, interior volume and power output between this vehicle and the Grand Highlander are virtually identical but from a perceived reliability standpoint the Toyota is a winner.

Ontariodriver just confirmed this is basically the same size as a Sorento.  The Grand Highlander is like two classes above this thing.

Correct the Grand Highlander is much bigger at 201.4 inches. The placement of the lights is to give the wilder opening, like Audi has done.

About a foot shorter than a Volare sedan.   :rofl2:

Hyundai is probably going to hit #2 or #1 with this unit - assuming they can deliver as many as people order…

This thing is ultra fine and immediately aged the competition by 5y or more….Highlander, Explorer, Traverse all look old vs this now.

What? Clunky looking Range Rover Chic? Fix the rear end and I would agree.
