This thing has about as much in common with the Maverick as the Bronco Sport and the real Bronco have to do with each other. This is a Tacoma, the Maverick is an Escape with a bed, totally different horses for totally different courses.

RWD based drivetrain2 speed transfer casereal off road abilitytowing 5000-7000 lbsstill fits in a garage..I like it. Now stick that sweet 5.0L Coyote engine in it and I'll be back to my 97 Dodge Dakota 4x4 5.2L manual. I still miss that truck.
The Savage Geese called the 2022 Ranger JUNK. Him and Jack had a good laugh about it.If this is the exact same platform as the 2022, but sheet metal changes, then forget it. Ford, like GM, is pathologically inconsistent. Some model offerings are first rate and others just crap.
