2024 ford ranger in the flesh. Old F150 vibes from the grill.

Ekk…I don’t like it. Almost looks like a Maverick with a nip tuck. Compared to the new Colorado and Canyon this looks really stale already.

The older ones were decent in the Mazda B day clones were around. What I don't understand is, why bring the ranger out in the first place. Who would buy this over Ford Maverick. It's pretty much the same thing, just better if you like Fords. I just can't understand why or where in the line up and the dated styling. I'm at a lost.  ???

RWD based drivetrain
2 speed transfer case
real off road ability
towing 5000-7000 lbs

still fits in a garage..

I like it. Now stick that sweet 5.0L Coyote engine in it and I'll be back to my 97 Dodge Dakota 4x4 5.2L manual.  I still miss that truck.

This thing has about as much in common with the Maverick as the Bronco Sport and the real Bronco have to do with each other. This is a Tacoma, the Maverick is an Escape with a bed, totally different horses for totally different courses.
Lighten up Francis.....

I guess um, I don't know. Maybe. Seems an awfully lot of pick ups on the market.

The Savage Geese called the 2022 Ranger JUNK.  Him and Jack had a good laugh about it.

If this is the exact same platform as the 2022, but sheet metal changes, then forget it.  Ford, like GM, is pathologically inconsistent. Some model offerings are first rate and others just crap.

Dodge is bringing back the Dakota, So you maybe able to re-live it again.  ;)

You should watch some other content creator, specially from Australia…the Ranger is highly praised and considered the best utility vehicle in that market and it has a lotttt more competition than in NA.
