Here's your 40hp: http://www.bullydog.com/ecoboost_tuning.phpI'm always afraid those would end up being a waste of money...and never seeming to get out of warranty before I get the next one, what would happen should something blow in the first 100,000 km? Unless of course I get the dealer to sell it to me and install it (or the service adviser, since that's what he does on the side, I'm sure I can get him to cover my arse should something go wrong. Hmmm...). If the factory did it though, I wouldn't need to worry about being caught "cheating".

I would think not too many body shops in northern Alberta can handle it.They won't be "fixing" them. New panels...which any bodyshop can install. What about the structure underneath and what will those new body panels cost? Not that it matters, pick'em-up trucks are the most successful goober-wallet-depletion device in history. What are you talking about? Love them or hate them, full-size pick ups offer an incredible value, given the price competition in the segment. Insurance is also lower on pickups, at least it is for my insurance provider. You can't look at the comparatively poor fuel economy as being determinative of total cost of ownership. You have to realize where he is from, in Vancouver you would get hemp sandals tossed at you if you drove a truck.

I had a similar reaction from TO downtown residents to my FJ. The area is just not compatible with driving of ...anything.
