Another interesting comparison involving the Supra, this time against the Nismo Z and Dark Horse.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5vZTXSZAmDw

Man that Supra is good.  May lose some on the subjective front.  When the twin turbo S58 version is released, watch out....

That’s a rumour, and even if it does come out it’ll be incredibly rare, expensive, and likely auto only (the current manual can not reliably handle the extra power).

Another great comparison review, this time with the new Z Nismo, Darkhorse, and Supra.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XW9L2z0myG4

I have come to the conclusion that the manual Supra is the car for me.  I have locked in my down payment in a 1 year GIC until next January.  I will be putting a deposit down at the local Toyota dealer for a new Supra to be delivered no earlier than February 2025, but ideally April or later.

If I get to April 2025 and still no word on a Supra that meets my requirements coming I may put a deposit down on a Civic Type R or Integra Type S and then just wait to see which shows up first.  If I do end up getting the Civic or Integra I'll be shopping for a RWD vehicle to pair with it, almost certainly it'll be used, and more than likely it will be a manual Cayman.
