Hopefully!  If it's not pouring down.

Choosing a car based on reliability is like choosing a wife based solely because she is punctual. There is more to it than that...

I've been to every one of these since I was born. I'll do everything in my power to be there again this year. I won't have a British car on the road to take with me, but my brother is planning to bring his XKR, so I'll probably hang out around there.

The one MG I have left (Blue 78 MGB) stays with me - and she knows it :P
I've actually "owned" it since I was 3 years old....my dad bought two really low mileage 78 MGB's in 1992 when they were mostly worthless and gave one to me and the other to my brother. The idea was that they'd gain some value and if we ever needed money for some reason we'd have the car(s) to sell. Needless to say, we've both hung onto them.
Admittedly, they've both been sitting in the garage at my grandmothers place since then though. We keep them up, repair anything that ages and breaks, drive them around the block once or twice a year, but they're not insured....so no Brit car day showings. Maybe next year....

I knew they were at your grandmas, forgot they weren't insured.

Yeah. My intention was to wait until I was 25 and qualified for Classic Car Insurance, then put it on the road. I am 27 now and it's still sitting there :( Too many other projects I guess. Plus, I am basically out of parking at my own house.

Poor MG, the future doesn't look bright.

Pretty good.  Nice day (26C and sunny). Lots of cars, and the price was ok $17 per car.  Wanted to spend more time catching up with Firm, but I was with my grandfather visiting from Spain, so had to entertain him.

Yeah. Weather was perfect, nice that it had rained the day prior so the dust was down. Good turn out, got to catch up with a lot of people I haven't seen in awhile, plus even got to see a couple cars that I've owned in the past!
This show has become a bit of a family tradition for us and it's one of the few things that the bunch of us (wife, parents, brother, myself, + the dog) do every year together -so it's always something I look forward too.

glad you guys got out at least! i was supposed to be camping, but ended up cancelling due to crap weather on saturday.

was it the red Porsche speedster?  They were several classic cars there that weren't part of the show, just in the parking lot.

yep! white cooper, white mg, and a red speedster. they were a hundred meters or so away at the closest, so i didn't get a better view to give too many details... my wife i believe called me a nerd when i named them from that far away in a second. a minute later, a healey sprite came by... my wife said "it looks happy".
