I either spray on directly and wipe with a microfiber, or spray onto a microfiber and wipe on, then remove with a clean one.  Maybe the uneven finish is due to residue left by previous products?  I previously used Meguiars.

Thanks again.
Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction, and skillful execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives.

It appears that you are using the product properly and it's possible that previous products that you've used are causing the issue.  From my experience, as long as you are using clean MF towels you should be fine with no streaking.

^ OCW (Optimum Car Wax).  It's a spray on Carnuba that will only take you approximately 5 mins to do you entire car.  It looks great as well.

Do this:

--Buy the Optimum No Rinse wash, as you can mix it to be the spray solution for when you clay bar.
--Riccardo Clay Bar
--Optimum Spray Wax.

You can get all of this from eshine.ca

Just an FYI that I will be on vacation until the 1st of June and won't be on the forum at all.  I wanted to let you all know in case you posted any detailing questions and received no answer from me.  Off to the land of Italia and test out some of those Ferraris and Lambos!   ;D

Have an issue when pressure washing my Tundra.

I normally hand wash when possible, but this time around I wanted to get rid of some mud in the wheel wells.  After the truck dried, there was a film left on the paint, and it still looked dirty.

I've never had this issue before when pressure washing other vehicles, and some had darker paint just like my Tundra does.  I recently clay barred and applied paint sealant, so I figured the film would come right off.

Why am having so much trouble getting the truck clean with a pressure wash when I've never had the problem with other vehicles?

After you washed it, did you dry it off with an MF towel, chamois, etc or did you just let it dry on it's own.  It sounds like dried water impurities to me.  Have you tried removing the film with a quick detailer?

No, I didn't dry it.  We do have hard water around here, but like I mentioned above, I've never noticed it on any other vehicle.  Its definately more than water impurities.  I wouldn't want to use a quick detailer at this point, its just too dirty.  It needs a hand wash.

Let me know how you make out after you hand wash your truck.  Also as an FYI, you can buy a QD that has lubricants so you can use it on a dirty paint surface.  Poorboys Spray & Wash is a good example.  Anyways, keep me posted how you make out.

Thanks for the advice.

Would ONR work well with a dirty paint surface as a QD?  I've have ONR.
