I would love a Miata as a daily driver, but with two kiddos in car seats that's clearly not an option. Corolla? Boooooooooring, but I understand why they appeal many people. Dead reliable, cheap to run, but just too boring... I haven't driven a Subaru in quite some time but I do enjoy the boxer rumble.

What made me finally join? I like cars and it seems like a lot of people here do to ;) I've also been enjoying the banter and would like to join in.

Generally I have a pretty thick skin, plus like I said I've been lurking for a while so I have a pretty good idea of the responses etc. This is a more mature forum then others that I participate/have participated in.

Welcome Dude! I own the right mix: a Japanese car that gets recalls, a German car that's getting bought back and a British car that I can fix with a hammer.

Oh, and read the pieces by the French Canadian contributor. He's my favorite here, after Jacob of course  ;D
