Must be the season. Kiddo attempted something similar.
I'm a placid guy, but in this instance:
That was Monday. Things were back on schedule by Wednesday.
OOOooooo!!!
Let's compare notes of the crime.
Thus far, CSI has informed of the following:
At around 5 pm, the boy asked his mom to drive him to town (to the mall) to see his friends. The plan was ill conceived from the get-go, as IQ and the boy had just returned from town (he goes to school there). Apparently forgetting that our time travel portal was broken, he didn't seem to think it was a big deal to go on the 75km round trip again. Since we try and operate on the honor system, IQ said "I'll take you if your homework is done and your bedroom is spotless." This seemed like a very fair trade as those 2 items are part of his "must do before anything else" list anyways. He answered in the affirmative that both items were done. We always check his homework anyways, and IQ said it was done. But when IQ checked his bedroom she used words such as "tornado", "bomb blast" and "train wreck" when describing the condition of the room.
So she said NO. Because A) Being dishonest B) Apocalypse bedroom
At this point he was angry and this is when he informed her that
IT WAS HER JOB TO DRIVE HIM AROUND! IQ said it took several seconds for her to rearrange her jaw, which had apparently fallen to the floor.
So after some stern looks and stern words, he's in the bedroom cleaning it up.
As punishment, IQ is debating charging him for gas and her time the next time he needs a ride somewhere.
