Firm alert!!

Same car I posted about two years ago. Initally a no-reserve BaT auction in Alberta, now a no-reserve auction in Toronto.

Sold for $2,100 USD in 2015, no work done by the seller, but the rust kept on workin' at it.

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1962-mg-midget/

That is a such a good original car, the minor rust is a non-issue for me. I could have it looking new in a few weekends I bet. I'll be watching and if it stays low I am likely to toss a bid or two in. Only deterrent for me is that even a really nice example isn't worth much, so the risk of over investing time on this one is high.

Sitting at $1,100 w/ 22 hours to go. I'll be watching this one; credit card ready.   :pimp:

1976 Chrysler Cordoba.   $4750

Check out the seats!  They're not mentioned in the '76 brochure that I found online.

A friend of mine could be bidding against you though. He is currently  interested in this MGA coupe on Bring a Trailer but the price has escalated too much for him.

Where's your buddy located? My dad brought this home last year; not sure what his plan for it is, but I bet he could be convinced to sell it.....Plus, it's blocking a garage door I'd like access too at the grandma's place.

Over $2K now. That was my cut-off; once you factor exchange, BAT fee, transfer fees, it's not a deal anymore. Still a very nice car though for someone looking for a cheap & fun runabout. Being a first year car, it's a bit more desirable, and the fact that it doesn't have modern conveniences like roll up windows (which came in '64) make it a pretty raw experience.

He is  in Nova Scotia. Is  that one a driver? He usually bids on them and when he is successful he flies to where ever it is located and drives it home.
Last year he brought back a TR8 ,this year a 1990 nissan hardbody 4wd.

Yeah, crazy. Same car two years ago was $2,100. The market on these hasn't moved much in 2 years, but on these lower dollar cars location is critical....The fact that it's now located in Toronto means it's reachable for much larger market without having to deal with the costs and hassle of transit.

Yeah, runs and drives great. Still in storage from the winter, but I am sure it'll be up and running within a month or so. If your guy is interested, PM me his email and I'll pass it along.

There's a guy a few streets over fro m me - he has a TR6 in pretty nice shape and some sort of Motorcycle as toys. I see he just took delivery of a black on black Morgan +4. I'm pretty sure it was a +4 - could've been wrong. Sounded like it was ony running on 3 cylinders.
Kind of like this one.

Strange pic. Looks as if the rear wheels are a different size.

Appreciate the thought.  But I refuse to pay $15K plus for one of these.  Afterall...it's still just a Miata.

15K plus is encroaching on S2000 money...and the S2000 is the far better car.
