Have to admit to follow this index very closely.  As I rarely have the car serviced at the dealer.  Not sure why Mazda is rated so low on this index, for the past few years as well.  But with reliability, much higher.  Good to see GM doing quite well on this index, looking back last couple of years.  Yes Rrocket, Lexus too.

So according to this ranking...pretty much all luxury cars are a safe bet!

Also looks like Land Rover did better than Honda and Toyota in this study, clearly these folks should be buying Land Rovers for better performance...

no surprises with this survey except Land Rover - good on them, traditionally they are worse than the Italians...

Good for Lexus too, they deserve to be up there. Just wish I could feel anything for their cars...the heart wants etc.

Yeah FCA really needs to pull their socks up. The positives of their cars [if there are any for some of them] cannot outweigh a healthy dose of "would not touch that ever due to unreliability, the dealers suck, etc." Still, would not put me off buying a tidy used Abarth 500 or a Abarth 124. Would just go to my trusty indy that is much better than any dealer.
If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

This is for new cars under warranty though... :o

A safe bet ?  This is not a reliability index.  It's how good they treat you at the dealership.  That's part of what you pay for when buying a luxury car.  So results should all be higher than the mainstream brands.

According to the service manager at my dealer, software glitches with the XC/S/V90 are causing endless sleepless nights...
I'd rather be car-poor than house-poor...

yeah... i'm not all that surprised...

while i try to be "all i can be" and all that crappola, i know there is only so much i can do... not going to change the whole brand recognition myself, and there sure isn't enough incentive for other people like myself to move FCA metal.
