nice emoticons air... what are you, a 12 year old girl?

see? i can throw around useless insults as well! kidding of course ab... but no, i won't re-word it, and nor should you stop using emoticons.

much like my lack of proper punctuation on here, i type the way i would speak amongst friends. this isn't a job interview, so i like to keep it casual. lets all be friends!

wife is knocked up and i was forced into watching "what to expect when you are expecting"... though for the women for sure, it wasn't all bad. helps having a pregnant wife so i can relate. but if you have small kids or are thinking about it, its actually worth a few laughs.

That's pretty freaking funny.     I know quite a few couples who have used that term.

Saw this short on an AC flight a few years ago.

If you've got 8 minutes to spare, it's awesome.  Turn up the sound.

I watched the 2001 war picture, Enemy at the Gates with my son this weekend. Made me think that the battle for Stalingrad was a bad place to be for all concerned back in 1942-43.

Good movie though and it's on Netflix.

Both of these are available on Netflix Canada.

The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel - British retirees travel to India to take up residence in what they believe is a newly restored hotel. Less luxurious than its advertisements, the Marigold Hotel nevertheless slowly begins to charm in unexpected ways.

We both really enjoyed this movie even though it was somewhat predictable. Maybe I'm getting old but I enjoy a movie like this. Nice story about 'older' people enjoying (or not enjoying) life and what it throws at you. Best old people movie since Cocoon.  ;D

Justin Bieber: Never Say Never - The camera follows Justin Bieber (1994- ) during the ten days leading up to his August, 2010, sold-out show at Madison Square Garden. Footage of these ten days of concerts, rehearsals, and down time with boyhood friends, his mom, and his entourage is inter-cut with home movies, old photos, and interviews showing a musical prodigy who loves to perform.

Yes we watched this and neither of us are JB fans or like his music. Can't lie, it was actually a very good movie and thought it did a very good job at his life, how he was discovered and progress quickly in the music industry. Like him or not he has done amazing and has a huge following and is the youngest person to sell out MSG. I would never paid to rent this but since it was on Netflix its worth a watch.

HIT AND RUN is a comedy about a young couple ('Kristen Bell' and Dax Shepard) that risks it all when they leave their small town life and embark on a road trip that may lead them towards the opportunity of a lifetime. Their fast-paced road trip grows awkwardly complicated and hilarious when they are chased by a friend from the past ('Bradley Cooper' ), a federal marshal ('Tom Arnold' ) and a band of misfits.

Available on Netflix (USA) in SuperHD/5.1

Picked it by chance and ended up liking it. No thinking involved, good humour and lots of big engine, tire smoking and driving fast through out the movie. After looking up some details, Dax Shepard used his own car for this movie and what a car it is. Also has a great soundtrack so turn it up loud.

That Lincoln is incredible. If Bell had driven it while nude, the movie would have been perfect...

Watched A Royal Affair recently. I had no idea what to expect, but it turned out to be an interesting one. I would recommend it to anyone interested in history and/or the Enlightenment.

Another very good one recently was Silver Linings. Funny, dialogue heavy movie with very good acting. For those who like wicked humour.

i'll have to check out hit and run... i remember seeing the previews for it but totally forgot about it once its dvd release came up.

watched a *very* odd one the other day.... "john dies at the end". I will credit it as one of the most original movies i've watched in a while... and some fun special effects and makeup... but not something to be taken too seriously.

i feel like its a movie totally written while high as a kite watching adolescent sci-fi/comedy shows such as "todd and the book of pure evil" (at least what i assume having seen about 5 minutes of that show).

fun b-movie style... but not for everyone... well... not for most actually.

I saw that one listed on Netflix and have it on my list to watch. I like different movies that are not mainstream so I might actually like it.
