Why?
Who gives a about twatter and it's limitations?
If you can't stand the tweet, stay out of the kitchen. Hey Mike, Chris, James...where's the twitter feed?
Yes, we know how you feel.
I used to have problems figuring out Twitter, too, but I've found it an excellent way to find the pulse of an organization. I admit I'm a bit more of a listener than a contributor and enjoy Twitter feeds from a couple of news wires and newspapers as well as organizations such as NASA. Great way of getting public service announcements, weather alerts, scores, etc. I don't know how it would work here, but it might be a good way of posting miscellaneous and random thoughts from readers as well as alert us to new content by the editors.
Sorry. That was way more than 140 characters!
Edit: wing points out that we do have a Twitter feed @autos_ca. Maybe there would be some way to have an embedded feed so people could see the hottest trending topics in the forums at a glance and link to them.
