What’s that on the dash? An auto-destruct device?  ;D

All their EV’s look terrible. May as well make the ICE offerings ugly too so they can languish on dealers lots like the EV’s. At least the Escalade was spared of the ridiculous rear end treatment the Lyriq, Optiq and Celetiq are burdened with.

Once the CT5/CT4 and ICE Escalade are gone this company will be dead. Sad.

Wokeism is nothing more than the recognition and opposition of bigotry in all its forms.  Bigots are predictably triggered.

Lol. Why have steering wheels become so small? It's like it is designed for the 5'1 blonde Texan who will driving this.  :rofl2:

A standard steering wheel is 14-15 inches diameter. That’s not a small steering wheel, it’s just a gigantic vehicle.

The Jag has a larger/thinner wheel than the BMW. I definitely prefer the BMW.

Yeah in a car sure but in a large BOF SUV? It's like an obese lady in high heels.

Fail. The infotainment screens are far too small.

You are right. They should just bolt in a 65" OLED at this point.

Why does GM have to embrace every bad idea out there? They are gradually going to migrate headlight controls for all models to the touchscreen!! The video below shows the touchscreen headlight controls for a 2023 Chevrolet Colorado, one of the first models to go there.

GM's default has been automatic headlights on virtually all models though, so really it's just forcing them on and off which doesn't happen too often, especially if they tie in the use of head and tail lights with wipers.

Yep, can’t think of the last time I touched the headlight switch in any of my GM products. They go on automatically and off the same, if I turn the wipers on they also illuminate. I find it really inconvenient to jump into a vehicle without auto headlights. Third world problems I know, but the switch in the screen doesn’t bother me.

Also, for some reason that Escalade is growing on me too.

Funny, as much as I like (and use) GM’s auto headlights, I still use the switch all the time.

Two reasons: I back into our driveway and as soon as I’m parked I like to kill the lights so they’re not shining excessively into the house across the street. Second, I like to use the parking lights when appropriate.

They’re both just a courtesy thing, but the switch is right there, so why not? But I’m sure I wouldn’t bother it would be a huge PITA if it meant tapping through a bunch of menus on the screen.
