Mr. Caravan got an oil change today. Hard to believe we've put over 2000 km on it already. Now showing 623,599KM. Love driving it, saves mileage and wear on tear on the Yukon, plus it gets nearly double fuel economy. Also love the look on peoples faces when I tell them the mileage ;D

When I see that I wonder why should I ever buy another vehicle again
My truck is only 6 years old with133,000km the only thing it is missing is a back up camera , $0 monthly payment
The RX , 4 years old , 73,000 km  it will need tires maybe in a couple of years, $0 monthly payment
I think I will try to keep both another 20 years

That has, largely been my issue. Our Lexus are paid for and offer tremendous value compared to something new.

I could buy something new or newer...But...maybe I'm getting cheap in my old age.

Plus it's no great inconvenience driving an LS everyday
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

Detailed my back seating area of my LS. Used Mckees 37 all purpose cleaner with my Tornador, then finished off the surfaces with Poorboys Leather Stuff.

vacuumed/cleaned out the fit. It's going to be parked for 3 weeks while I'm out on vacation - I wanted it clean for when I get back!

Went back to help my friend put the transmission back together with the engine. Geez what a b*tch of a DIY job. Another 3h to get the two pieces back together.

I should have taken a pic of his old clutch. The friction material was literally in shreds and pieces when he took off the bolts !  :o

Replaced the drivers side CV axle again... The first replacement started clicking again within 500km of install. Hopefully this one is good or Cardone is off my list...

Made an appt for a windshield replacement for $250 all in.  Then I started having second thoughts about waiting until it NEEDS replacement. The cracks from the chip are about the size of a toonie.  Should I just replace it now?

It'll grow.......at some point you'll be replacing it.

No doubt. I just don't want another chip soon after replacing it.  I think I'll postpone it a couple of months until summer trips are done, but get it done before the winter comes.

Sold the MG B since its the end of summer and I need to free up a little space.

Built a wooden wing for the Civic (for the beater rally). More cheesy custom touches to follow.

Took in my mother's old TSX. 6spd manual and has 204K on it. I need clean it up and sort one or two details then sell it for her. Or I could sell the Mazda 2 and buy it off her. I'd like to get rid of the Civic and keep this one but it is easier on the kids to learn to drive on the automatic. We have one learner now and another as of January. Not sure which way to go yet. The Acura drives like a dream but it is 8 years older than the Mazda.

That first gen TSX is such a great car. I'd certainly be tempted to keep that one.
The '04 I had is still my favourite (ok, second favourite) car I've ever owned.
