Must be a Western thing, little to no Russians in these parts!

No wonder, with plates like that. Imagine you pass them things over the threshold too? Whistle indoors? Break mirrors?

Monsters!  :D

Quebec is another world. While b**ch is quite trendy these days, a lot of English faux-pas aren't here, and it's perfectly ok to say :censor: or :censor: on TV.

The wife and I got one of these NX things as a loaner when we were getting the GX serviced. It was the turbo one, I found it very cramped and the door was cut way too low for me to get out without smacking my head, reminded me a lot of my moms old Volvo XC60 which I hated for the way the door gave me a concussion every time I got in. I would definitely save my pop cans for an RX over this thing. Great review though, questionable licence plate lol

Was that the previous gen or the new one? We felt exactly the same about the previous gen, felt tiny and overstuffed. Thought the new one was a bit bigger

Ha on the license plate, my wife would have pointed that out. Reminds me of the Russell Peters sketch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BtMd6PbscwE

"Peter, hehehe"

Mr. Peter, heheheheh  :rofl2:  It's a couple of letters off though.

As always I enjoy reading your reviews.
Would you buy one instead of the Mazda?

I showed it to wifey at the auto show last year. She really liked it, except for the small rear seat and electric latches. Seating position / front visibility was good for her. And she willingly took my presser for a spin, a good sign! With EV rebates, the PHEV is about at par with our CX-90. Definitely an option next time around, once we're really ready to downsize.

An excellent improvement over the previous generation. Like mentioned, the lower base hybrid trims is the one to get. This unit is considered to be on the smaller side than its competitors (kinda like how a CX5 is smaller than a Rav4, CRV).

A buddy just picked up an RDX A-Spec today over this because of the size, and some decent discounts on the RDXs. They are harder on fuel though.

One thing that would give me pause is they don’t seem to come with a spare tire, not even a jack or lug wrench. Just run flats.

Not great for a road trip machine

Most if not all electrified vehicles are exempt from spare tires as they don't have the room for them. The NX doesn't gave one.

The CX-90 PHEV is a notable exception: I have a spare tire under the floor.

That being said, my last flat was in 2015!

A tiny person's car for only $71K.  Should be $45K as tested.

If it's more of a city machine not really an issue for sure, but on a long trip that could be a problem. Lots of BC doesn't have cell service, even on the main highways

And it looks as if they'd have the room in this one too, if they just rearranged things a bit:

I'd take the CRV.  Those things are large.
