Kind of an odd colour. Looking at pics, in some it looks more like a subdued brown while in others it has more of an orange shine to it.

I saw a brown Jetta a few days ago and liked it.  But it looked to be a darker version.

I like brown, but this one is a bit too bronze, I've seen the colour, not subtle.
I love it when a plan comes together.

I liked the brown that Subaru used to use on the Outback.

Looked better without the two tone:

I think it's almost more copper coloured than bronze in some light. It's different but I'm having trouble making my mind up about it.

Other options are a Carbon Black Msport with saddle leather (almost a dark, dark blue in direct light) or a Deep Sea Blue with Oyster (this one is a maybe as they would have to trade for it) Both have the Premium enhanced pkg and sport seats. Both also have the Anthracite Fineline wood rather than my preferred Burled Walnut. The Msport also deletes the heated wheel.

Pretty hard to get exactly what you want picking from stock.

Why not just order one? Or even go to Montreal or Toronto and pick one up there. If you order you also would be getting an '18 at this point, I think.

No, 2018's supposedly aren't coming until the 1st quarter of the new year (model change). I think ordering of 2017's is done as of now. Production stops in July for the retooling.

How far is the BMW dealer? Wouldn't you use up your warranty just driving there and back  ???

Ah right, I was thinking of the 2018 X4 which is already at dealers.

If i really wanted to live dangerously I could go for this.  ;D

http://www.autotrader.ca/a/Mercedes-Benz/GLE-Class/Halifax/Nova+Scotia/5_31687522_20060927101522501/?showcpo=ShowCPO&orup=1_15_1

Apparently it has had two owners and enough issues that MB gave one of them a free extended warranty in an effort to appease them. (obviously didn't work as they traded it in)

I would go with the Q5, it's cheaper, they give you more for your ML, it's a new model and won't be outdated within months. Or I would hold off and buy a 2018 X3 when it comes out, but then you're risking half a year with your FGC out of warranty.

I agree with your points on the Q5. The thing is, that's all true but the X3 is just better in terms of driving dynamics and "feel" IMO.

Also, the Audi interior, while very nice, is more modern than the BMW (brushed chrome vs wood....I like wood)

As for Audi giving more for the ML.....we haven't finished negotiations  >:D

I think you should just run the ML until the next Gen X3 is out.

What could go wrong?

Aside from the ML being out of warranty.

And be BMW being a brand new model.

Thinking about offering on a in stock X3 with premium enhanced pkg and sport seats. Chestnut Bronze metallic w. Oyster nevada leather like this photo. I can't quite make my mind up if i like the colour or not.....thoughts?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hH7ifTxc_kc

That colour is bad on the X3.
BTW, this outgoing X3 model already looks dated, and dressed in that colour, it looks ridiculous.

That GLC still has your name on it. It's a current model that drives very nicely. The stuck-on iPad is not in your face and will grow on you.
...Just saying
