Topic: Mazda3 GX and GS manual cancelled for 2024

Official: the 3-pedal 3 is dead in Canada after the current model year. Reported by a few online, and my dealer mentioned the Canadian allotment for manual 2023's is ... 130 cars.

RIP. Explains why I haven't seen a manual in stock in a while. A few years ago there were all sorts of manual GTs on the lots here.

Edit:

Details came out yesterday:

- 2.0 engine cancelled, so now it's 2.5 only, as with the US market;
- manual cancelled in all GX and GS versions, plus GT sedans;
- no awd / manual or turbo / manual combo (a few atmo manual awd units may have existed, on paper - 2023 specs had a grey area)
- manual STILL AVAILABLE in the GT Sport atmo fwd.
