At least with Ford you can get the "big" engine across the line. Want the 6.2 in the GM?  Gotta go to the top.  Why can't I have cloth and a big engine??   ::) ??? :P

Good point...!

Ford would sell me a truck if they had an XLT package that offered leather + LED headlights.
I think I’d be OK with the 2.7T, I drove it last spring and gosh that little engine is fast!! For some reason it felt like it had more torque than the V8.

Because peasants won't order the big dog engine anyways.

I would...and, don't tell AB...those facking Chevy/GM's are starting to grow on me.  :-[ Interior's still too small, and the non-centered steering wheel would drive me nuts...but there's a silver and a blue one across the street that keep attracting my attention.  Guess that's what happens when you're exposed to them daily.  Mind you they never seem to sell, and the Ford dealer can barely keep the used units on the lot...and the new ones keep moving too. (unreal considering the prices now... :P :fall:)

Current GM 1/2 tons may be great work trucks but fall short on mid level luxo.  Must have thought if Toyota was still OK to use an ignition key then what could go wrong.  :P     2019 will find the pendulum shifting back to Chevy/GMC from F150.

As for prices  :o;  end of year blowouts are a must do.  How much more can they change a Ford F150?  What possibly can they add for 2019.
