I like it mostly, except the front fascia is giving me a hard pass but otherwise, looks good to me

Targerting workhorse entry level below 40K U$D, you need to do some kind of compromise, this steering is not that bad  :P

Does it have a bench seat ?

Pics show buckets with a wide console - an EV would benefit from the flat floor and absence of mechanical shifter to install a bench.

Bench seat and slim steering, it reminds me my father 67 or 68 Chevrolet pick-up C10 I drove when I was 16, 17 years old, almost like this one except pale green color and without any chrome, steel paint glovebox cover and no AM radio, basic !

https://tfltruck.com/2022/01/2024-chevy-silverado-electric-work-truck-starts-at-39900/
“The Silverado EV will initially be available in two vastly different versions. The Silverado EV WT, which stands for Work Truck, will be a fairly bare-bones truck intended for commercial fleet customers. GM says it will go into production in the spring of 2023 at prices starting at about US$40,000. It won't be available with the fold-down rear cab wall and it will have a matte black front end where a grille would ordinarily be.”

My granddad had a same-year C30 on the farm, a sturdy duallie flatbed with the straight six and a 4-on-the-floor. Exact same interior, and also in that typical-era light green / turquoise!

Just sayin' an EV has no need for a shifter  ;)

And the new '22 Silverado has one  :D

That would be the shifter with the reverse gear about 4 ft away and down? Can be a delicate situation

Yes, from the LT trim and up. The three more basic trims keep the Playskool dash.

The EV Chevy Silverado's sold out in 12 minutes. Looks like almost a year and half, you can expected delivery. Crazy really,  $105,000 RST, version sold the quickest, some people must have money to burn...

https://www.thedrive.com/news/43751/heres-what-comes-in-the-40k-2024-chevy-silverado-ev-work-truck

Here's what comes with the work truck edition. $40,000.  More miles on the battery than a Chevy Bolt for considerable less, it's the only edition you need. More space. It makes the volt a joke now if you buy one. Unless you live in European cities, small cars like the volt are pretty much extinct, simple because you are not really that worried about the MPG, only how far on a single charge.

^^^ Why are you obsessed with the Volt that's not even made any more?

If they can sell it for around 50k in Canada it will be a huge deal. Would get my deposit if I needed a truck.
