Nice price but skeptical if the base will even get built.  Are they delivering base price model 3 now?

No.

The base model is special order. Most Canadians will probably opt for the midrange $65k AWD dual motor model anyway.

I want this so bad.

Styling is wild. Looks like a reject from a very early 3D video game where everything had to be super blocky and unshaded for the CPU to handle.

So, here's a thought.

You can plug an electric vehicle into a standard 120V outlet, and it will take a very long time to charge, but it will work in a pinch if you don't have access to a charger.  The best home charging times come from the 240V chargers that have to be installed in a garage or a driveway.  And obviously with Tesla's, charging at a Supercharger is even quicker.

Now, presumably this truck will be used to pull RV trailers to campgrounds.  Now, pretty much any campground will have 240V, 50Amp plugs available for those large trailers that have a lot of amperage draw from AC units, TV's, and other electronics.

Would it make sense to build that fast charger right into the truck, so that you can just plug into these 240V outlets that are at campgrounds without any extra hardware?  It would actually make this electric truck useful for the camping crowd (you know, those people who buy a lot of trucks for towing).

With all of the flat panels for the body, this is going to oil can (ripple) bad one would think.

The tailgate is cool...but would weigh a ton methinks.

This looks as though it was designed by a high school shop class.

How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

The built the metal super think to combat that (and boost strength). I would imagine the weight is huge.

Without reinforcement, it can still happen. And knowing Tesla, it will happen.

Maybe the lift gate, somehow, will be power operated? Otherwise...too heavy for most.

Wonder who's going to supply this steel?

The charger is built in, as it is for all EV's, the cord you see plugged into EV's is an EVSE, essentially a smart fuse safety cord to ensure current is passed with protections and initial "ramp" into the vehicle onboard charger.

Our Tesla charging code is 120V and 240V capable and we have absolutely charged it on 50 Amp camp sites.  Trivial to plug in and use.

My wife is completely baffled by the CYBRTRK.
Personally, my laughter has died down and on reading the Motor Trend in depth articles, I'm coming around.
Looking forward to renting one of these bad boys on TURO to tow a trailer for a multi-week camping trip in 3 years time.

3 years?  You really think these'll see production that soon?  Ya right!

GBA, I’ve yet to see a campground with 240V 50A plug ins. Not saying they don’t exist, but they aren’t common in SK that’s for sure. Are they common in MB?
Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction, and skillful execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives.

Campgrounds have 120V 15/30/50A, not 240V. People have fried their campers thinking they could plug into a 240V outlet at home.

The base model is special order. Most Canadians will probably opt for the midrange $65k AWD dual motor model anyway.

I want this so bad.
Really  ???

Why not? We’ll see what GM and Ford prices their EV trucks at but I’d be surprised if they’re anywhere near as low as Tesla’s nor will they offer the same payload.

Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach the man to fish and he wakes you up at 5 in the morning.

GM put these two together on a stage in Detroit in 2000, and 19 years later Musk answered a question no one in their right mind would ever ask...
