Looks great! Those Jag power antenna were not robust; pretty sure my brother has had trouble with his and his car is well under 100k. Unfortunately it's usually the plastic mast inside that breaks. I'll ask him what he did with his because I am sure he's replaced or repaired it.

Yeah, I remember back in the 90's the Mercedes ones were forever failing. We sold tons of them under warranty. "Clean and lube antenna mast" was a line item on every scheduled service.  Good thing is the Jag ones seem relatively cheap online ($30-ish)

I think mine might just need cleaning and lubrication. It's actually gone back down now but last time I started the car it didn't extend......maybe just sticking?

Hope you can get out for a drive today.. we had a tiny window last night, sunny-ish and 8-9 degrees so pulled my droptop out of its carhole and blew the dust off of it.
It's probably parked again now for a couple weeks with the garbage forecast I see...

There's a little, plastic, geared string inside the antenna stalk. They get stripped.

There are many replacement stalk that will retrofit with little trouble.

Did this on my old LS.
