Which  winters has the longest  life span again? The X ice?

Xice3 has been for me.

X ice it is then.   What's the diference between X Ice3   or X ICe 2 or  4... is it just the version/newer model?

-Coopertires Discoverer True North.  they look like decent review and longer mileage ratings.  Only issue I see is the noise.

-Yokomaha Iceguard G075   they look like they have a stiffer side wall

Michelin "Xice Xi3" are not for snow.  OK for the first 20K km then useless on snow/heavy slush.  Michelin realized this so to compete with Blizzack they came up with the X Ice SNOW.   This confuses buyers to no end.

X-Ice for me too.Had an early version for 8 winters.
Just ordered a set of X-Ice Snow for the Outlander.
The Cross Climate 2 are still OK for few more summers but don't like them in snow, much less now with another warm season of wear.

Here on the east coast with lots of wet snow and heavy slush (and living on a hill) I'm firmly a Blizzak guy.  Although, it's a tough call because we do get lots of variable conditions.  Bare pavement, glazed hard pack and  heavy wet ,slushy snow at different times.
Old Jag convertible...one itch I won't have to scratch again.

Running Blizzak WS90 on the GTI. Will be interesting to compare wear to the X-Ice Snow on the BMW. The BMW got driven more last winter but this will probably change from now on so it will be fair game.
I definitely prefer X-Ice Snow + AWD over Blizzak WS90+FWD any day and in any conditions.
