Someone will want to trade?

You should see all the whining that went on on VW Vortex about Pretoria's not being available in NA.. Most people much prefer the Pretoria... I will have to check forums and kijiji to see if I can trade.. My Cadiz are pretty much unused because I swapped for winter tires within two weeks or so of getting the car.

Yeah I much prefer the Pretorias as well.

Now they just need to add a sunroof.

As long as they make the damned thing optional.

The Pretorias wheels are gorgeous. Lucky 2016.5 buyers.

The Cadiz look a lot better in the metal than in pictures.. still doesn't come close to the Pretorias though.

Hard to tell the colour with all the filters used in that video... there are two purples available for the R in Germany:

Dark Violett Perleffekt
Violet Touch Perleffekt

Each is a 2,210€ option though, whereas red and white are standard and a few other colours (Lapiz Blue, Limestone Grey, Night Blue, Silver, Black) are 560€.

Wow, that's really expensive and the highest I've seen yet for optional paint.  That's up there in Bently and RR territory. Currently equates to almost $3500 Canadian!  :o

I quickly went on vw.uk and the GTI starts at 27,500 pounds! Didn't bother looking to see how much paint costs.

Those prices are on par with BMW Individual paints, so as a special order paint colour that's about right.

You haven't been introduced to Porsche PTS (paint to sample) pricing then.. Also, I'm sure 99% of buyers stick to the regular colours.

Porsche charges $3590 in Canada for so-called "special colours" (not paint-to-sample).

I just checked the prices for the M4 and the optional Individual colours are all listed at $1450, so about $2k cheaper.  BMW was what i was referencing in my mind when i made that comment as i am partial to that Tanzanite Blue, but doubt if i would drop even $1500 for a particular paint colour.  That's just me though as I am cheap when it comes to superficial stuff.

BMW charges 1 950€ for Individual paint on the 3er in Germany, so it’s on par.
