That fack'n musk character cost me an extra 1 1/2 hours at Pearson tonight.  All fights coming from the Caribbean had to alter routes due to the launch and everything got stacked up.  Can't wait till Tesla goes under.  :)

Just think of it this way. You brushed shoulders with history today.  That launch was epic and that David Bowie soundtrack which accompanied the video of Starman? Unbelievable!

It is there  on Youtube.   Starts with a clean few seconds of the barge then a large cloud of dust and smoke. There is a frame by frame vid as well which shows some debris flying about. The barge cameras were damaged.

The booster landed/crashed a few hundred feet away from the barge.

Watched replay of live broadcast of Starman after successful launching in Youtube.

Good job, Elon. Falcon Heavy is the one of the few rockets able to take a humans to the Moon. Hope this year we will see the tourist flying around it. Moreover, it is a first important step towards Mars. For this task, another rocket is already in the development: BFR rocket.

Following stage separation, SpaceX will attempt to land Falcon 9’s first stage on the “Of Course I Still Love You” droneship, which will be stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.
