The sun came out and the fun continued this weekend in the Mini Cooper S. I even had the sunroof open for a short jaunt today, although I will say that it does get a little noisy with it open.

What really is impressive with the Cooper S is that you can constantly drive around with vigour and yet still manage excellent fuel efficiency. I’m sure if I actually attempted to conserve fuel, rather than driving 120km/h on the highway and accelerating briskly after every stop, I would have achieved much better results.

That said, I still managed 7.6L/100km over the week, which is extremely impressive. The Mini is one car I’d love to have in my collection: such a fun little runabout to hop into for a spin to the store, and it entertains the entire time.
