Marking Pathfinder’s 25th anniversary, a new Silver Edition trim package is introduced for 2011. It includes leather interior, 17-inch alloy wheels, heated seats and mirrors and Silver Edition badges. The mid-range SE trim line is now called the SV.
Sitting on a fully-boxed, all-steel frame borrowed from the Nissan Armada and Titan pickup truck, the Pathfinder uses a 4.0-litre V6 with five-speed automatic transmission and driver-selectable four-wheel drive. Trim lines are the S, SV and LE, all with seven-passenger seating.
Features on the S include 16-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning, tire pressure monitoring system, heated mirrors, splash guards, privacy glass, variable intermittent wipers, fixed intermittent rear wiper, roof rack side rails, cloth seats, 40/20/40 second row split bench seat, 50/50 split fold-flat third-row seat, CD player, cruise control, auto up/down front windows, keyless entry, digital compass, and security alarm.
The SV adds 17-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, fog lamps, running boards, roof rack cross bars, heated seats, eight-way power driver’s seat, six-CD stereo with auxiliary input, and illuminated vanity mirrors.
The LE adds 18-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlamps, power sunroof, heated leather seats, four-way power passenger seat, six-CD Bose stereo system, XM satellite radio, and garage door opener.
