NEW FOR 2014:

-Redesigned model
-Eco start/stop standard with all engines
-New generation collision prevention assist, navigation, electric power steering, and LED headlights standard

Like the sedan and wagon variants, Mercedes-Benz’ E-Class coupe and convertible models are redesigned for 2014, and gain a number of new standard features.

Powertrain options are fewer here than in the more popular four-door cars: E 350 models get a 3.5L V6 that makes 302 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque, and E 550 versions get a twin-turbo, 4.7L V8 good for 402 hp and 443 lb-ft. A seven-speed automatic transmission is standard in all, and the E 350 coupe can be optioned with Benz’s 4MATIC all-wheel drive.

Standard kit includes agility control suspension with selective damping, dynamic handling package, electric power steering, engine auto start/stop, single-lens LED headlights, panoramic sunroof (coupe), heated and electrically-adjustable side mirrors, 14-way power front seats and power-adjustable steering column with memory, three-spoke Nappa leather-trimmed steering wheel, garage door opener, analog clock, shift paddles, navigation, automatic climate control, attention assist, collision prevention assist, adaptive brake with hold function, pre-safe, and neck-pro.
