NEW FOR 2012:
– Auto-dimming rearview mirror removed from Navigation Package
– Exterior colours: Crystal Champagne Metallic Tri-Coat, Cinnamon Clearcoat Metallic and Dark Blue Pearl Clearcoat Metallic added; Gold Leaf Metallic discontinued
For 2012, changes to the Lincoln MKS are in trim: the Navigation Package deletes the auto-dimming mirror, and there are new exterior colours.
The MKS comes with a 3.7-litre V6 or twin-turbocharged, direct-injection 3.5-litre EcoBoost V6. Both use a six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode. The 3.7-litre comes in front- or all-wheel drive, while the EcoBoost is strictly all-wheel. There is one trim level.
Standard features include 19-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated mirrors with memory, puddle lamps, and auto-dimming driver’s side, dual chrome exhaust tips, adaptive xenon headlamps, LED taillights, front and rear parking sensor system, rain-sensing wipers, touch-sensitive access keypad, proximity key with pushbutton start, capless fuel filler system, leather 12-way power heated and cooled front seats, heated rear seats, power rear sunshade, auto-dimming rearview mirror, MyKey vehicle control system, SYNC voice-activated communications and entertainment system, six-CD/MP3 stereo with Sirius satellite radio, wood steering wheel with power tilt and telescopic column, garage door opener, rain-sensing wipers, 60/40 split-folding rear seat, and fog lamps.
The EcoBoost adds an engine block heater and electric power-assisted steering.
