NEW FOR 2011:

– Redesigned model

For 2011, the Infiniti QX56 is all-new, with a new and stiffer frame, new 5.6-litre V8 engine with direct injection, and a seven-speed automatic in place of the previous model’s five-speed transmission. The styling is all-new, it’s larger but lower than the outgoing model, and fuel economy is improved by ten per cent. Its assembly location also changes; it is now built in Japan, rather than in Canton, Mississippi, which will switch to light commercial vehicles.

The QX56 is available with seven- or eight-passenger seating. It uses a 5.6-litre V8 engine mated to a seven-speed automatic with manual shift mode that includes Downshift Rev Match.
