Based on the Chevrolet Avalanche, the Escalade EXT uses a 6.2-litre V8 engine with six-speed automatic and all-wheel drive. It includes a “Midgate” panel that converts it from a five-passenger SUV to a two-passenger pickup truck, with 2.7 metres of protected, secured storage area. The standard locking tonneau cover can be removed entirely for extra storage room in the bed.
