NEW FOR 2011:
– New CTS and CTS-V coupe
For 2011, the Cadillac CTS sedan is joined by a new two-door, 2+2 coupe that is available as the CTS or CTS-V. Styling-wise, it shares only the instrument panel, console, headlamps, front fenders and grille with the sedan, adding hardtop styling with no conventional B-pillar, touch-pad door handles, diamond cut-style rear fascia with mesh lower grilles, centre-outlet exhaust, vertical lighting with LED pipes, and integrated rear spoiler.
The CTS sedan uses a 3.0-litre V6 or optional 3.6-litre V6 with six-speed manual transmission or optional six-speed automatic, while the CTS-V sedan uses a supercharged 6.2-litre V8 with six-speed manual or optional six-speed automatic. The CTS Coupe uses the 3.6-litre V6 with six-speed manual or optional six-speed automatic, while the CTS-V Coupe uses the supercharged 6.2-litre with six-speed manual or optional six-speed automatic. All models base with rear-wheel drive, while the V6 models can be optioned with an all-wheel system that normally runs in 40/60 but which can automatically transfer up to 100 per cent torque to either axle when necessary. All AWD models use the automatic transmission only.
Features on the CTS sedan include 17-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, automatic headlamps, keyless entry, OnStar with Turn-by-Turn Navigation, chrome-tipped exhaust, LED taillights, heated mirrors, variable intermittent wipers, cruise control, driver information centre, tire pressure monitoring system, auto-dimming rearview mirror, leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, cargo net, garage door opener, express up/down windows, eight-way power heated leather seats with driver’s side memory, fixed rear seat with pass-through, Bluetooth connectivity, and CD/MP3 stereo with XM satellite radio.
The CTS-V sedan adds 19-inch alloy wheels, adaptive xenon headlamps, remote starter, theft-deterrent alarm, rear parking assist, Brembo performance brakes, limited-slip rear differential, Magnetic Ride Control sport suspension, xenon fog lamps, rain-sensing wipers, LED accent lighting, power tilt and telescopic steering wheel, piano black interior finish, leather and suede seats, and CD/DVD/Mp3 stereo with 40 GB hard drive and Bose 5.1 Cabin Surround sound system.
Features on the CTS coupe include 18-inch painted alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, automatic adaptive xenon headlamps, LED taillights, heated mirrors, cargo net, cruise control, proximity key, pushbutton start, driver information centre, tilt and telescopic leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, garage door opener, variable intermittent wipers, eight-way power heated leather seats with driver’s side memory, 60/40 split-folding rear seat, premium CD/DV/MP3 stereo with 40 GB hard drive, Bluetooth connectivity, rear parking assist, remote starter, and tire pressure monitoring system.
The CTS-V Coupe adds 19-inch painted alloy wheels, V-specific grille, headlamp washers, automatic cabin odour filtration, LED interior accent lighting, power tilt and telescopic steering column, Bose 5.1 Cabin Surround sound system, and navigation system.
