NEW FOR 2015:
– New V8 Vantage GT added, bringing down price of entry to $105,000
– New V12 Vantage S Roadster replaces non-S
Another year for Aston Martin means another couple of models based off older counterparts. In the V12 camp, the Roadster gains S nomenclature like the Coupe model did the year before. But, the most exciting news is on the low end with the V8 Vantage GT. With limited options, the GT gets a relatively low starting price of $105,000, making it more attainable, especially for those looking to get into an Aston Martin for the first time.
The Vantage range is made up of the V8 Vantage GT, V8 Vantage, V8 Vantage S, and V12 Vantage S. All models are available as coupe and convertible. V8 models can be had with either a six-speed manual or seven-speed automatic transmission. V12 models are only available with a seven-speed automatic.
All V8 models are powered by a 4.7L V8 engine. The normal V8 Vantage produces 420 hp while GT and S models crank out 430 hp. The V12 Vantage S is powered by a 6.0L V12 producing 565 hp.
