For 2009, the Maserati Quattroporte comes in two new models, the higher-performance S and GT S. New styling cues include a redesigned fascia, larger grille, new lighting with LED taillights, reshaped seats, more streamlined mirrors, redesigned wheel and instrument cluster, The Executive GT trim line has been discontinued, with its features available as options on the standard models.
The Quattroporte uses a 4.2-litre V8, while the S and GT S use a 4.7-litre V8 that makes 430 horsepower in the S, and is tuned to 433 horsepower in the GT S. All use a Ferrari-sourced six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode.
Features on the Quattroporte include 18-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, comfort-tuned suspension, adaptive bi-xenon headlamps with washers, fog lamps, LED taillights, heated mirrors, electric trunk closing assist, rear parking sensors, three-spoke multifunction wheel with power tilt and telescopic, 14-way power leather seats with driver’s side memory, power rear sunshade, anti-theft alarm, keyless entry, cruise control, Bose surround sound system, hard-drive multimedia system with USB port and auxiliary input, navigation system, Bluetooth hands-free connectivity, Star Wood interior trim, and rain-sensing wipers.
The Quattroporte S adds 19-inch alloy wheels, cross-drilled brake rotors, Skyhook variable active damping system, and wengè wood interior trim.
The Quattroporte GT S adds 20-inch alloy wheels, sport suspension, dark chrome headlight surround, shift paddles, leather and Alcantara upholstery, and Titan Tex interior trim.
Depending on the trim line, available options include heated seats, front parking sensors, power sunroof, and various interior trim finishes.
