NEW FOR 2009:
– Redesigned model
– Exclusive exterior matte colours: Nero Nemesis (black), Bianco Canopus (white) and Marrone Apus (brown) added
For 2009, the Lamborghini Gallardo has been redesigned, and now bears the name Gallardo LP560-4. The redesigned model, available as a coupe or Spyder convertible, has a new chassis, new styling, lighter weight, and a larger, more powerful V10 engine than the Gallardo it replaces.
Both Coupe and Spyder use a 5.2-litre V10 engine with six-speed manual transmission, or an optional sequential "e-gear" gearbox with wheel-mounted paddles. Both use a permanent all-wheel drive system that runs in 30/70 bias under normal driving, but can distribute torque when needed. Zero to 100 km/h takes four seconds, en route to a top speed of 324 km/h.
Features include 19-inch wheels, dual-zone climate control, bi-xenon headlamps, LED running lights, leather or Alcantara seats, multimedia system with USB connector, and power-adjustable seats. Available options include a carbon fibre trim package, ceramic brakes, rearview camera, Bluetooth hands-free connectivity, and a lift system that elevates the front suspension for driving over bumps.
