Helsinki, Finland – Scandinavian electric vehicle (EV) company Think has entered Finland, with sales set to commence in conjunction with the Helsinki EV Motor Show in November. The Think is already on sale in key markets in Europe, and the company has announced plans to establish a U.S. production facility in Indiana in 2011, as well as developing operations in Asia.
The Think is produced in Finland through manufacturing partner Valmet Automotive. The first customers will be delivery company A2B through a new Think dealership in Helsinki. Further full-service dealerships are planned in several other Finnish cities in the coming months.
The Think is a purpose-built, all-electric and fully air-conditioned urban car that can travel at highway speeds and cover 16o kilometres on a charge.
