Kitchener, Ontario – The Ontario government has announced that it is investing in Mitchell Plastics of Kitchener, Ontario, which manufactures decorative plastic auto trim without using solvents.

The province will invest $1.5 million, supporting the company’s investment of $10 million. The investment is expected to create 32 new jobs and retain 215 jobs. The plant has customers across North America, including Toyota plants in nearby Cambridge and Woodstock.

The provincial investment comes from the Next Generation of Jobs Fund, a program that allows the government to partner with business to support their investments.
