Yokohama, Japan – Nissan Motor Company will present its new Leaf electric car at the Tokyo Motor Show, along with the Land Glider electric concept car, and the Qazana, a new type of compact sport crossover.
Nissan said that its ultimate goal in the environmental field is zero emissions, and its exhibits will focus on concept cars and the development of related technologies and battery-charging infrastructure in an effort to communicate its commitment to consumers.
The company will also show the new Fuga, its top-of-the-line sedan, and Roox mini MPV, both of which will be launched later this year.
Nissan is also continuing to work on the internal combustion engine technology for the development of environment-friendly technology to improve fuel economy and reduce emissions. In addition to electric vehicles, the Nissan exhibit will feature a wide range of models and technologies, such as a hybrid electric vehicle, clean diesel technology, and the next-generation of its X-TRONIC continuously variable transmission (CVT).
