Montreal, Quebec – Montreal will host PHEV’09, a conference and trade show devoted to the latest technological breakthroughs in electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids, on September 28-30, 2009.
The conference will take place at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, with the trade show held at Complexe Desjardins.
Electric Mobility Canada, which is spearheading the event, has lined up more than 80 conference speakers from Canada, the U.S., Europe and Asia to share their knowledge and experience. Electric mobility includes surface transportation and off-road vehicles using electric-drive technologies provided by battery or grid connection, hybrid or fuel cells.
“The success of last year’s event clearly showed that electric mobility is of primordial interest for these specialists from around the globe,” said Mike Elwood, president of Electric Mobility Canada. “The PHEV’09 program has been developed with the aim of providing a forum for enriching discussions to expand on the issues pertaining to these new technologies on which we base considerable hope for the future.”
