Geneva, Switzerland – Chrysler will showcase its ENVI family of electric vehicle concepts at the Geneva Motor Show in March. The company will present the European premieres of the Chrysler 200C and Dodge Circuit prototypes.
The company recently unveiled the two vehicles in Detroit, along with the new Jeep Patriot EV, and updated Chrysler Town & Country EV and Jeep Wrangler Unlimited EV.
“Our goal is to provide creative solutions to the challenges that our customers face around the globe,” said Michael Manley, executive vice-president of international sales and global product planning operations. “We’ve made electric vehicles the primary path to developing clean vehicles for all our product lines. We will produce at least one of these vehicles for North American markets in 2010, and for European markets after 2010.”
The Chrysler 200C EV sports sedan uses an extended range system, capable of 64 km of all-electric driving, and a total of 644 km driving range in extended mode. The Dodge Circuit all-electric sports car boasts a range of 241 to 322 km, with zero gasoline consumption and tailpipe emissions.
