Vancouver, British Columbia – British Columbia will become the first Canadian province to be fully linked with electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, with the first installation within thirty days and the province linked within a year, according to Greenscape Capital Group.
Greenscape will implement the charging station network through its subsidiary Green.Switch Capital and a partnership with Garage Juice Bar, operating as The Juice Bar. The network will be privately financed and will link all of B.C. through the installation of EV charging stations on properties owned or operated by existing Greenscape energy retrofit clients and on other third-party locations.
The Juice Bar is also negotiating agreements with several large U.S. municipalities to provide EV charging station networks.
The company said the network will consist of single-stall EV plug-in kiosks, installable at parking garages and other strategic locations.
