Squamish, British Columbia – A new, environmentally-conscious Toyota dealership will open in Squamish, B.C., meeting customer expectations while leaving a smaller environmental footprint.
The new facility is located at 39150 Queens Way and will open in early 2010, employing approximately 15 people.
The dealership is an energy-efficient facility, with lined service walls, efficient glass, and a store design that maximizes natural light. A rain water control system and energy-saving display lights further enhance the ecological commitment. It includes an eight-car showroom, customer lounge featuring a fireplace and Internet access, a covered service reception, delivery gallery, and ten-bay vehicle shop.
“We’re proud to join the community of Squamish, and to do so while integrating innovative environmentally mindful elements is a great accomplishment for us,” said dealer principal Mark Lightheart. “Environmental leadership is a key pillar of Toyota’s philosophy, and Squamish Toyota is similarly committed to making the future better for our customers.”
