6 minutes and 57 seconds is the amount of time the Porsche 918 needed to conquer Green Hell.
The Nurburgring, in particular the Nordschleife, has been the battleground for automakers releasing new product for quite a while. Now Porsche is getting in on the action (again) with their new 918 hybrid supercar.
You wouldn’t expect a car with a fuel consumption rating of 3.0L/100km to lap Green Hell at a record setting pace. But, the 918 is no normal hybrid, pumping out a combined 887 hp and 945 lb-ft of torque.
After attacking the open-road racetrack, the Porsche 918 clocked a time of 6 minutes and 57 seconds, all of which you can see in the above video.
