Vancouver, British Columbia – The Vancouver Auto Show will run March 30 to April 4, 2010, giving showgoers the opportunity to see 450 new cars from leading auto manufacturers, along with special features including classic cars and motorcycles.
The show has been the premier automotive showcase in Western Canada for the past 90 years. The 2010 show will be the last event to take place under the air-supported dome at BC Place Stadium; once the show is done, the stadium will be transformed with a new $485 million retractable roof.
Special features at the show include a Motorcycle Expo, Tuner Alley aftermarket product marketplace, and Classic Alley, a tribute to the grand history of the automobile with vehicles from some of British Columbia’s most impressive private collections.
The show is presented by the New Car Dealers Association of BC. It runs noon to 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday March 30, to Friday April 2; 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Saturday April 3; and 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday April 4.
Admission is $10.00 Tuesday to Thursday, and $15.00 Friday to Sunday for general admission. Seniors and students are $10.00; children 7-12 accompanied by an adult are $4.00; and children 6 and under accompanied by an adult are free. Family passes are $25.00 Tuesday to Thursday, and $30.00 Friday to Sunday (two adults and two children aged 12 and under).
