Montreal, Quebec – The Scion brand has officially come to the Canadian market, with the full lineup making its debut at the Montreal International Auto Show through three highly customized, urban-aware models.
“Scion drivers are a new generation of new and enthusiastic car buyers who feel it’s important that what they drive expresses their individuality in the same fashion as their clothes, music and lifestyle in general,” said Larry Hutchinson, director for Scion. “The Scion generation represents one of the fastest-growing demographics in Canada, and many of its members are still looking to buy their first car. For these people, we are pleased to have three standout examples of the promise and potential of Scion in Montreal.”
On display are the Scion Revalt tC, the 2009 Scion Tuner Challenger winner with custom wide-body kit, turbocharged engine and unique in-car entertainment system; the 2010 Scion xB Release Series 7.0, a limited-edition production model that includes a four-piece DAMD body kit, unique TRD sport muffler, TRD lowering springs and unique colour; and the 2010 Scion xD by MV Designz, with 5-Axis body kit, custom wheels, performance shocks and lowering springs, TRD performance exhaust, and customized Pioneer Premium audio system.
Scion will go on sale in September 2010, initially through the brand’s first 45 dealers.
The company has relaunched its Canadian Web site, Scion Nation, and will have a display at Montreal’s Igloofest where participants can pick up Scion CD samplers and other goodies.
