Toronto, Ontario – Subaru Canada has announced pricing for the 2010 Forester, which will start at $25,995.
For 2010, the Forester lineup includes a new PZEV (Partial Zero Emission Vehicle) model, which joins the Legacy and Outback PZEV models. The new model meets the Super Ultra-Low Emission Vehicle (SULEV) tailpipe emission standard and eliminates fuel-system evaporative emissions, and has 90 per cent cleaner emissions than an average new vehicle.
The 170-horsepower Forester 2.5X is available with a five-speed manual transmission starting at $25,995, or a four-speed automatic transmission for $27,095. The 2.5X can also be equipped with a Touring Package, starting at $28,695.
The new Forester PZEV comes with a four-speed automatic transmission and starts at $28,095.
The top-line turbocharged and intercooled 224-horsepower Forester 2.5XT Limited starts at $35,295.
All Forester models include Subaru’s symmetrical full-time all-wheel drive, standard side curtain airbags with rollover sensor, and stability and traction control.
