Subaru BRZ unveiled at Detroit show 2012 north american international auto show detroitCherry Hill, New Jersey – The production version of the all-new, rear-wheel drive 2013 Subaru BRZ has made its U.S. debut at the North American International Auto Show.

The BRZ will arrive in Subaru dealerships in late spring.

The new sports car uses an all-new, naturally-aspirated 2.0-litre horizontally-opposed engine, producing 200 horsepower. It was designed to be more compact so it could be placed lower and farther back in the chassis. It is available with either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission.

With swept-back roofline, bulging front fenders, short overhangs and pronounced rear haunches, the BRZ presents an athletic stance while offering everyday comfort and practicality, with 2+2 seating and expandable trunk space.
