Students receive Nissan hybrid general newsOttawa, Ontario – Nissan has donated an Altima Hybrid to the automotive programs at Algonquin College in Ottawa, giving students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with hybrid technology.

The college is equipped with a Transportation Technology Centre which Nissan Canada helped build.

“This vehicle will give our students valuable exposure to hybrid vehicle technology,” said Dr. Misheck Mwaba, academic chair of the Mechanical and Transportation Technology department. “Donations like this will help ensure our students are keeping pace with the industry.”
