Windsor, Ontario – A special inaugural run of the 2012 Fiat Cinquecento (500) will go on sale with reservations accepted online starting November 23, 2010. The system will go live at 12:01 a.m. that day at Fiat Canada.

“This is the first time in history that Chrysler Canada has offered a reservation program for a new vehicle,” said Ed Broadbear, vice-president of marketing for Chrysler Canada. “This initiative is in response to the high level of interest surrounding the launch of the Fiat 500, and the large number of Canadian consumers who have become passionate Fiat Followers on our Fiat Canada Web site, Facebook page and Twitter channel.”

The Fiat 500 Prima Edizione models will come exclusively in white, red or grey and include a unique numbered badge. Two equipment levels will be offered, both featuring a 1.4-litre engine with five-speed manual transmission.

Buyers will take delivery at the Fiat dealership of their choice. The reservation deposit will be applied toward the final purchase price of the vehicle and is fully refundable at any time up to the date that the vehicle purchase agreement is completed.
