GTS models get 15 hp bump over Boxster S and Cayman S

Porsche has officially announced new Boxster and Cayman GTS models to be officially shown at the New York International Auto Show next month.

Both receive output increases of 15 hp and 7 lb-ft of torque over S models, giving the Boxster 330 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque and Cayman 340 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque. While available with the 7-speed PDK automatic, you’ll still be able to order a 6-speed manual gearbox. The Sport Chrono package, Porsche Active Suspension Management, 20-inch wheels, and a unique interior are also included.

The new output numbers and other performance bits give the Boxster GTS a 0-60 time of 4.4 seconds, while the more powerful Cayman can make the sprint in 4.3.

Canadian pricing and availability has not yet been announced.

UPDATE: Boxster GTS pricing starts at $83,900 and the Cayman GTS gets a suggested price of $85,900. Both will arrive this summer.
